Summer Courses in English
Learn English in day or evening programs at Harvard.
Intensive day programs for international students
The intensive programs are full time. Basic English literacy is required.
- Tuition is $5,160, plus a $50 nonrefundable registration fee.
- Classes meet daily Mondays through Fridays, 9 to 11 am and 1 to 3 pm.
- Housing, which costs $4,450, is required for high school students and optional for adults.
- Visas and I-20s: If you are an international student, the F-1 student visa is appropriate for study in an intensive program. You request an I-20 when you register.

Evening program for local students
If you live in the Boston area, you can take an evening class in this part-time program.
- Course tuition costs $850, plus a $50 nonrefundable registration fee.
- Classes meet two evenings each week, from 6:30 to 9 pm.
- Housing is not available.
- I-20s are not issued.
